The Post of Many Pics

I have had a very big day!!

First off, I got my Mills and Boon Leander Rowing Calendar in the mail…and no, I didn’t buy it just for the half-nekkid men.

I bought it because my book A Mistake, A Prince and A Pregnancy (NA April title An Accidental Birthright) is featured in one of the pics! Oh, and you know I have to show a close up too…

And in addition to that bit of loveliness, The Inherited Bride is releasing in the UK (officially) tomorrow and it’s available NOW on Mills and Boon AUS!!

So now I can post the cover I have been DYING to post. Adham and Isabella, on a Mills and Boon Sexy. 🙂

*sigh* I love that cover. It’s really fun to have different versions of the same book.

And lastly, but certainly not leastly, we were having a little fun on twitter with the stereotype of romance writer looks and so I *had* to take this pic. Yes, I look like this all the time. Okay, no, but it’s a great thought.

In truth my husband reminded me (nicely) that it is nice when people don’t spend the whole day in their PJs. :p

  1. You mean I’m supposed to dress everyday???

  2. Hey, what has he got against PJs? 🙂 Love the cover, it is teh sexxxayy! As is the calendar. Oh and what have we here? A Romance Writer no less (note the capitals). You look tres chic, m’dear, in your gauzy dress and gold shoes. I shall have to post my portrait on my blog too. In a couple of days maybe. Don’t want to have too much of a good thing too quickly eh? 🙂

  3. Oh Miss Maisey you are hilarious! But I gotta say girl you have a seriously fine looking pair of legs. I suffer from leg-envy. I myself possess a pair that look as if they had been stolen from a pool table, so I think it’s perfectly understandably why I think yours look so good. Now as for the pyjamas – it’s possible to buy jammies that are more expensive than regular day clothes, so it’s possible to argue that swanning about in your pjs all day is actually a step up 🙂

  4. Thanks Elissa! That’ll be my excuse!!!!!

I’m kidding. I have to leave at 6:45am to drive my daughter to high school so I dress practically before I’ve had coffee. But I’d rather be in pricey PJs!

  5. Julia, it makes NO sense to me.

Jackie, you can NEVER have too much Romance Writer (TM)

Elissa, *blushes* well it’s because I work out all the time and never eat cake and limit my caffeine intake…bwhahahaha…no, I can’t. I do none of those things. :} Pool table legs! I do not believe you.

  6. Oh, the book in the rowers hand! Get back the book, get back the book!
I love the Aust/NZ cover. We will also get those here in my country! Now if a writer lays around in fine dress with a glass of bubblies, when does she writes?

  7. He’s the team captain and Olympic silver medalist too! XD And if it was all bubblies and dresses we wouldn’t get work done…but then we have fun work!

  8. Waving hello this extremely cold morning! I’ll bet you’re having the same in Oregon?

Loving your cover, especially when it’s displayed with the “hunky” rower. Also, your sheikh cover is great. This am in the post arrived Daisy’s “sheikh” as well as Sarah’s. The tbr is growing.

So to you, sending lots of hugs and can’t wait to read The Inherited Bride. Love the dedication btw! xxoo

  9. It’s not so bad here! But we’re on the very Southest end of Oregon so the sun is shining at least!

Ah yes…hunky rowers. Am so pleased with the calendar!

And it sounds like you have a lot of sheikhs to satisfy there. 😉

Also, the dedication, yep, I meant every word. My parents have always believed in me. If only everyone had champions like that in their lives. It never occured to me that achieving my dreams might not be possinle, because my mom and dad were always so sure I would.

  10. Where’s your boa?

  11. At the dry cleaner, dahling!

  12. That’s awesome your book made the calendar. I didn’t know the books were included in the photo shoots.

  13. I first discovered it via Kate Hewitt. She sent me a video with the making of the calendar, and there was Mistake! So I had to get the calendar, of course!

  14. Fabulous work Miz Maisey 🙂

I am leaving now for the shops so I can buy romance writer clothes. Then maybe they’ll love my full!
