Happy Australia Day!

It so happens that today I got author copies of GIRL ON A DIAMOND PEDESTAL, which features my very first Aussie hero, Ethan Grey.

And in honor of Australia Day…I’d like to give at least one copy away!

Never been kissed.

Noelle was once the girl who had everything. Until the piano prodigy fell from grace. Destitute and desperate, she’s forced to accept billionaire Ethan Grey’s convenient proposal.

Ethan wants revenge – all he needs is Noelle’s signature on the marriage certificate. Yet his carefully composed façade cracks in the face of her innocent attempts at seduction.

Noelle’s only ever felt love and excitement whilst at her beloved piano – yet now her traitorous body craves the white-hot passion ignited by Ethan’s skilled touch. But will he ever see her as more than a means to an end?

  1. Thanks for the opportunity to win a copy of Girl on a Diamond Pedestal. I can’t wait to read about your Aussie hero! I’ve always wanted to visit Australia and love me a good Aussie accent. I’m convinced I’m meant to visit…some day!

  2. Sounds good! I love stories about marriages of convenience. Revenge is also a nice touch. The cover is beautiful! When I read it I will imagine him looking and talking like Alex McLoughlin from Hawaii 5-0.

  3. Woo hoo – always love a chance to win books 🙂

Happy Australia Day 🙂 We’re having lovely weather – perfect day for a BBQ and catching up with friends!

  4. After your tweet about consulting a Doctor….. Gotta read this! Thanks for the chance to win a copy. Regardless, I’ll be reading this one. 🙂

  5. Oh, this is so fun! Just finished Marriage Made on Paper last week and cannot wait to read another one of your books. *crosses fingers*

  6. Love the storyline and of course, the cover. That red dress and the piano are so unusual for romance covers. 🙂 Would love to win a book by you Maisey!

  7. I don’t think I’ve ever read a concert pianist heroine before. Nice! I’d love to win a copy.

  8. I love this cover, Maisey. So gorgeous and sensual. And my latest heroine is named Noelle 🙂

  9. Aussies & piano prodigies. I can get behind that. 😉

It was a surprise a few years ago when a friend told me about all the Aussie actors on American TV (most with decent American accents). Now I’m used to it, in movies and on TV. For a while, I was almost beginning to wonder if there were any decent American actors. 😉

When I was a kid, I had who friend whose Mom was from Australia. They went to Australia one summer, and my friend tried to convince me that, because it was winter there, they had to go to school.

  10. Lisa, oooh, I’m a sucker for the accent too!

    Shelley, oooh, Alex! *swoon*

    Joanne, hooray for lovely weather!

BookLover, ah yes…that. 😉 I will say this book has some dirty jokes in it!

    Abigail, thank you!

    Sasha, thanks!

Becky Black, my literary doppelganger Kate Hewitt has written one which leads me to…

Kate Hewitt, are you really writing a Noelle? We have to start checking with each other!

Lori, a double whammy! Aussies and piano prodigies…hehe

I love the book’s title! ‘Girl on a Diamond Pedestal’ is so awesome. The blurb sounds great, I can’t wait for it to come out. (uk-march, yes?) Do love those Aussie heroes!
Is the giveaway open to UK fans too? 🙂

  16. I love this cover. It’s stunning. I can’t wait to get it in the shops. Good luck with your new release.

  17. You’re a hard worker Maisey, you have a book out every other month, I can hardly keep up with you at all. Congrats on the new one!

  18. BTW 26th was Republic Day in India too! Your books always come out here. I won’t miss that cover when I see it in my local bookshop!

  19. Happy Australia Day Maisey – for last week. My kids were in Australia for a couple of weeks with their Nana, they couldnt go out and celebrate Australia Day because of the flooding. There’s a neat website called coastalwatch and I was watching the surf cams (from NZ) at Currumbin and there were people in the carpark with Aussie flags wrapped around them, it was pretty patriotic 🙂

  20. WOOT! WOOT! Did I win?

  21. ahhhhh can’t wait to read it 🙂

  22. I can’t think of anything witty or wonderful to say except ‘comment!’

PS: This has got to be the sexiest cover of all time.
